Abstract: Google App Engine enables you to build web applications on the same scalable systems that power Google applications. Unlike other cloud offerings, App Engine does not offer you a virtual machine, but a scalable container in which your application runs, handling one request at a time. Scaling is automatically taken care of by the infrastructure. The presentation will give an overview of the App Engine architecture from a developer's perspective, followed by a live demonstration.
